About

Jane Williams, Clinical Animal Behaviourist & Animal Training Instructor.
I have had a life-long interest in animals, their behaviour and well-being. I have a Zoology degree, an M.A. in Education, and have completed the Post Graduate Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Counselling at the University of Southampton. I also have a research M.Sc. from Southampton in the same subject.

I am registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) as a Clinical Animal Behaviourist and I am a Full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors (APBC). I am also an APBC Committee member.

Is your dog jumping up, barking all the time, pulling you along the street, toileting indoors, worried about being left alone, frightened of loud noises, or showing aggression towards other dogs or people? I can help you as a qualified animal behaviourist.

Much of my work is with dogs, but I can also help with cats and other small animals. I live in a multi- animal household with 6 dogs (all of them from rescue), rabbits and tortoises. I have been involved in tortoise welfare for many years and am committed to improving animal welfare as a qualified professional and through my work as a Trustee of the ABTC.

I am registered with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council (ABTC) as an Animal Training Instructor and I am a Full member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT).

I offer a variety of dog training, classes, workshops, guided and open walks as Dog Star Training.
